Another week is coming to close and its been a bit of a tough week for the Mates Madness team which is clearly evident by some of the content shared here this week. For me personally it was the last week of work prior to going on annual leave so each day I started to go more and more into holiday mode as a result getting out of bed in the morning got harder and harder. Now finally I have a few days at home then off interstate to Melbourne for a few days for a quick family get away, Whilst I there I will try to share what we get up to with you all. Damo had his own challenges which he has been going through for some time and more than likely some of that stuff will continue for some time but he will get through it. Kieran opened up and shared some of his struggles with losing weight and just how hard day to day life can be, I know much of the inspiration for this post comes from the tough time he and his family have had over the past 4 or so months. Kieran makes a great point in that post about how important it is to ask the people in your life especially your mates ARE YOU OK?
We ended the week with a day out at the footy followed by a few Jacks and Coke then catching up with Damo for a bite to each and talk crap for a while we did take a quick bit of pregame footage from the footy and added to our Youtube channel.
From an income point of view our passive income streams are yet to kick in really with know new apps uploaded to the play store, check out our games currently on the play store here. With only a few new downloads and and know clicks both in app and on this site all income came from impressions and was only 1 cent down from the 17 cents earnt last week. That is ok though we know this is a long term strategy we are not expecting to become overnight millionaires on anything like that. If you do download any of our games though we would love to get some feedback from you by way of a review and comments here on Mates Madness.
Hopefully the next week is a bit more up beat for everyone and I manage to get my old Android phone charging so I am able to take some screen shots of new apps to enable me to get them up on the play store.

Living day to day if hard for some people they might look or seem fine when you see them or speak to them, but you don’t actually know how they are really feeling they could seem very happy when you speaking to them but deep down they could be feeling very sad and putting on that happy smile and act, you think this person is very happy and then you walk away and somebody else comes and speaks to them and they might be very sad to them and you think they were so happy speaking to me what has happen in that very short amount of time from speaking to me and to this other person.
so you could look at somebody and they are acting so happy but you don’t know what they are actually dealing with deep down they could have lost a family member recently or are dealing with depression you cant just think this person is always happy when they could be dealing with something to big. Its like that old saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”.
If everybody in the world could just stop for 1 minute out of there day to just ask somebody how they are feeling it could lift their spirits and they would think that a person is so caring that they can ask me how I am going it takes 5 seconds just to ask somebody how they are going that’s all it takes. So why not next time you see somebody just ask them how they are going you might just make their day and they will be so much happier for the rest of the day because you have just asked them how they were going.
In Australia we have a day just to ask people are you ok because of how many people were committing or trying to commit suicide and by you or somebody asking those three little words it can stop somebody trying to commit suicide. So that help to be just asking those three little words it can stop or hopefully stop somebody trying to commit suicide.

Losing weight is one of the hardest things for some people to do as I have realised recently but I have found some small ways to help me and they will hopefully help you guys aswell.
Portion control is a major one that I have found it means you don’t need to stop eating chips and anything sweet it just means you need to cut it down to at least 10 chips instead of half a packet or one chocolate instead of 5 also if your drink soft drinks instead of having a couple of glass a day or a couple cans try cutting it down to at least half a glass a day or one can.
another one I have found is just getting up from sitting down doing something on my computer to go for a quick walk to get you off the computer because I realised after siting at my computer for a long time I start to see stars and feel dizzy because of siting and looking at a screen for to long.
Another one to help which is one most people will know is exercising but some people find it hard next time you try to exercise try doing with some friends that are also exercising it will help you probably go longer then just doing by yourself and who wants to exercise by themselves you will start exercising and after about 10 to 15 minutes your going to say to yourself why am I doing this but if you exercise with friends you will go longer because they will hopefully motivative you to do what exercise you are doing.
While you are exercising try to take a 3 to 5 minute brake every half an hour from doing anything hard but try to keep your heart rate up by just walking around if you don’t walk around and keep your heart rate up, when you get back to doing exercise after you brake you are going to feel like not doing it but if you keep your heart rate up it will help you get back to doing the exercise easier.
Just remember your not alone there are more people out in the world just like you trying to lose weight so if we all join together we will all be able to lose weight together. So lets get this started and help each other. Getting out of bed in the morning can be one of the hardest things to do especially mentally, when things are not going your way day to day many people lay there dreading going through it all over again so I thought that I would give some tips for people to work through to see if any of them work for them.
In a large percentage of cases the thing you are dreading is work related so lets focus on that in this post, lets look at getting you out of bed in the morning and off to work.
The first thing is you need to ensure your mind set right, understand why you are going to work, to pay the bills, put a roof over your head, feed yourself and family. As a result try to look at work as a positive there are many people out there that don’t have a job and those simple tasks become much harder. The next thing is remember there are not many people in this world that have a job that good they live to work, most of us work to live. As a result set goals to make sure you reward yourself foe your hard work, set small goals to give yourself regular reward but also set a large goal something to work towards, something to strive for something that when you finally achieve will give you a real sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. If hitting that goal and giving yourself that reward does not give you that feeling you probably didn’t set the right goal or didn’t make the most out of your reward.
The small goes must also be celebrated because something two years away isn’t great motivation to get up today, small steps.
The next tip is know you create your own destiny, you get out what you put in. Your life is not planned out for you, you decide what happens when it happens or at the least have a very big say in it. So if you want something to happen stop talking about it stop complaining about it not happening and work hard to make it happen. YOU CAN DO IT you just need to push yourself to make sure getting of bed. It all starts with you.
