Living day to day is hard for some people

Living day to day if hard for some people they might look or seem fine when you see them or speak to them, but you don’t actually know how they are really feeling they could seem very happy when you speaking to them but deep down they could be feeling very sad and putting on that happy smile and act, you think this person is very happy and then you walk away and somebody else comes and speaks to them and they might be very sad to them and you think they were so happy speaking to me what has happen in that very short amount of time from speaking to me and to this other person.

so you could look at somebody and they are acting so happy but you don’t know what they are actually dealing with deep down they could have lost a family member recently or are dealing with depression you cant just think this person is always happy when they could be dealing with something to big. Its like that old saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”.

If everybody in the world could just stop for 1 minute out of there day to just ask somebody how they are feeling it could lift their spirits and they would think that a person is so caring that they can ask me how I am going it takes 5 seconds just to ask somebody how they are going that’s all it takes. So why not next time you see somebody just ask them how they are going you might just make their day and they will be so much happier for the rest of the day because you have just asked them how they were going.

In Australia we have a day just to ask people are you ok because of how many people were committing or trying to commit suicide and by you or somebody asking those three little words it can stop somebody trying to commit suicide. So that help to be just asking those three little words it can stop or hopefully stop somebody trying to commit suicide.
If you would like to read more about the day you can visit www.ruok.org.au/

Losing Weight is Hard

Losing weight is one of the hardest things for some people to do as I have realised recently but I have found some small ways to help me and they will hopefully help you guys aswell.

Portion control is a major one that I have found it means you don’t need to stop eating chips and anything sweet it just means you need to cut it down to at least 10 chips instead of half a packet or one chocolate instead of 5 also if your drink soft drinks instead of having a couple of glass a day or a couple cans try cutting it down to at least half a glass a day or one can.

another one I have found is just getting up from sitting down doing something on my computer to go for a quick walk to get you off the computer because I realised after siting at my computer for a long time I start to see stars and feel dizzy because of siting and looking at a screen for to long.

Another one to help which is one most people will know is exercising but some people find it hard next time you try to exercise try doing with some friends that are also exercising it will help you probably go longer then just doing by yourself and who wants to exercise by themselves you will start exercising and after about 10 to 15 minutes your going to say to yourself why am I doing this but if you exercise with friends you will go longer because they will hopefully motivative you to do what exercise you are doing.

While you are exercising try to take a 3 to 5 minute brake every half an hour from doing anything hard but try to keep your heart rate up by just walking around if you don’t walk around and keep your heart rate up, when you get back to doing exercise after you brake you are going to feel like not doing it but if you keep your heart rate up it will help you get back to doing the exercise easier.

Just remember your not alone there are more people out in the world just like you trying to lose weight so if we all join together we will all be able to lose weight together. So lets get this started and help each other. If you or anybody you know have any other ideas about losing weight I would like to hear from you in the comments below and don’t forget to share this post if it helps you or you think it will help someone you know.

Getting out of bed in the morning

Getting out of bed in the morning can be one of the hardest things to do especially mentally, when things are not going your way day to day many people lay there dreading going through it all over again so I thought that I would give some tips for people to work through to see if any of them work for them.

In a large percentage of cases the thing you are dreading is work related so lets focus on that in this post, lets look at getting you out of bed in the morning and off to work.

The first thing is you need to ensure your mind set right, understand why you are going to work, to pay the bills, put a roof over your head, feed yourself and family. As a result try to look at work as a positive there are many people out there that don’t have a job and those simple tasks become much harder. The next thing is remember there are not many people in this world that have a job that good they live to work, most of us work to live. As a result set goals to make sure you reward yourself foe your hard work, set small goals to give yourself regular reward but also set a large goal something to work towards, something to strive for something that when you finally achieve will give you a real sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. If hitting that goal and giving yourself that reward does not give you that feeling you probably didn’t set the right goal or didn’t make the most out of your reward.

The small goes must also be celebrated because something two years away isn’t great motivation to get up today, small steps.

The next tip is know you create your own destiny, you get out what you put in. Your life is not planned out for you, you decide what happens when it happens or at the least have a very big say in it. So if you want something to happen stop talking about it stop complaining about it not happening and work hard to make it happen. YOU CAN DO IT you just need to push yourself to make sure getting of bed. It all starts with you.

Life’s Challenges

Mates

Just a quick post to give my thoughts on life’s challenges.

This last month or so life have has thrown me some challenges, One being the access to my Son.

Now in the past when things have fallen apart for me, I have crumbled. This time however I have not.

Though the power of social media I have found strength and motivation through people such as Joe Rogan, Jocko Willink, Simon Sinek, and Garey Vaynerchuk.

What I have taken away from them the most is its all about mindset. Like we can sit and cry about what has happened or we can do everything in our power to overcome those challenges.

It all starts with educating ourselves. In today’s environment with the access to information we have through the internet it has never been easier.

Search what your problem is and see what others have done to overcome it, gather the information for yourself, get in contact the necessary people/businesses/government departments, action what you need to and move forward.

The longer you sit idle the harder overcoming life’s challenges will seem.

So get clicking, find out what you need and go get what you want.

My thoughts on the AFL Evolution DLC

Hey

everyone with the AFL season already going I thought I would talk about the DLC content on AFL Evolution that is getting released this year

With AFL Evolution being released in 2017 they are releasing some DLC for this year which will include SANFL, NEAFL and the WAFL and also the new Perth Stadium called the Optus Stadium that is not all they will be doing an update they will put a 2018 fixture in some new players and some new squads aswell

I’m looking at getting the DLC and if I do I don’t know if I’m going to do a Coach career which I will coach a club in the SANFL, NEAFL or WAFL. A new player career which I will make and try to take my player all the way from a SANFL, NEAFL or WAFL club into an AFL club and Win the Premiership, or take a pro player that is already on any of the SANFL, NEAFL or WAFL clubs and get them to play in an AFL Club I would like to hear what you reckon I should do and I might take anything you say into consideration

I think that if they could of released the game with the SANFL, NEAFL and WAFL teams they should of instead of waiting a whole year just to release DLC with THE SANFL, NEAFL and WAFL but if they couldn’t release the DLC until now its probably because they didn’t have the rights to all the teams in those competitions it a good idea to re-release it now with DLC you can by the DLC when it comes out if you already have on XBOX One, PS4 or Steam or you can buy the game with the DLC include in it buy going to get a physical copy of the game or downloading it digitally. so if you are thinking of getting the DLC I think it is a good idea because you will now be able to play or coach in the SANFL, NEAFL and WAFL which is good value for money.

their are also some new achievements that come with the DLC which are

But wait there is more which means you need to win the NEAFL, SANFL and WAFL competitions on hard or higher difficulty

North Eastern Champion which means you need to win a NEAFL season

South Australian Champion which means you need to win a SANFL season

West Australian Champion which means you need to win a WAFL season

New Surroundings which means you need to win a game at Optus Stadium

A living Legend which means you need to win a game using Legend difficulty using any of the 2018 team

you can see more about the dlc on WWW.press-start.com.au/news/playstation/heres-2018-afl-evolution-season-pack-includes

Thanks for reading my post let me know if you are going to get the DLC of the game and what you are looking forward to in the DLC

Cheers kieran

Weekly Wrap

Well another week has come to close pretty much our first full week on the new relaunched Mates Madness, so I thought I we would start providing a bit of a weekly wrap up of what go on.

This week as you have seen we launched some app on the Play Store Match 3 World Edition being the first and in the end 5 more went up. To this point they have note been very successful having a combined total of 8 downloads from the Play Store. From an income point of view we made a little 17 cents with over 1000 impressions and 1 click which is start but still shows we have a long way to go.

Traffic here at Mates Madness has doubled to up to 50 hits per day already which is a great sign, to keep this trend going up we need your support though, please share any content on your socials that you find interesting or that you think someone you know will enjoy.

We have also launched Bidvertiser adds here on Mate Madness as these were only just put in place late in the week we have only generated just over 100 impressions and as a result no income that is showing up at this point. I am not fan at the moment of Bidvertiser due to there reporting but with the site being new and limited traffic we think they are a good starting point but will be working towards Adsense integration.

Around the world of sport the NBL here in Australia came to a close with Melbourne winning the championship beating Adelaide in game 5 check out some stats here on Kieran’s post. I didn’t watch the game so I cant comment on what let Adelaide down or Melbourne did well but the home court advantage over there has really helped Melbourne over Adelaide this year.

While that game was going on Damo came over and we gave my new darts setup its first real workout which was good but I just need to learn to hit those doubles I was in winning positions all 3 games of 501 and only took out the first game after that I could hit a double in probably something like 30+ tries to win. Maybe today I might practice throwing at doubles I mean it cant hurt considering I need to them to win and I hate losing.

So for the weekly wrap that’s pretty much it, moving forward for the week ahead (a short week at work) I am hoping to get up on the play store and 3-5 apps and at least that much content on here for you all to check out.

Cheers

Family Day Out – Semaphore Kite Festival

Hi All

This weekend my wife and I took our girls down to Semaphore (in Adelaide South Australia) to take a look at the annual kite festival, like normal our eldest feel to sleep about 5 mins into the 25 minute drive down to the beach. This year the celebrations were alot more localised to near the jetty than in past year which was good and bad all at the same time. It was great because you could see all of the kites at once from the jetty but at the same time the jetty was absolutely packed. There was a few people taking there dogs for a walk at the festival which always proves a challenge with both girls be scared as of dogs. They both like them from a far but as soon as they get anywhere near close it complete panic.

On the foreshore there was a small fenced of market area with some stalls, once of which was selling kites and then there was the all of the amusements set up at Semaphore over the summer period still setup again one of those also selling kites. We decided to buy a cheap one to attempt to fly it for the girls. I was able to get the kite in the air for them but we were not able to keep it up for very long but that didn’t matter the girls still had heaps of fun chasing it around.

Check out my footage of the kites on display at the festival, for the first time I have used some video editing software on my phone to merge a couple of small videos together to make a larger one to provide a view from a couple of different angles let me know what you think in the comments below
